Day 3
Having spent a morning at the Turkish baths we are now in the beautiful village of Ripley where we treated ourselves to yummy cheeses and deli treats for a picnic... My personal favourite was the cheese that tasted like fudge!

The Blues Bar, Harrogate
My husband played a fab gig at the friendly Blues Bar last night. Thank you Harrogate for making us feel so welcome.

Summer wanderings day 2
The day has begun with a service station breakfast en route to harrogate and me struggling to look glamorous having slept in a van, a skill I have pretty much mastered even if I do say so myself. Although possibly not today...
Summer wanderings
As I am now on summer holidays I am attempting to record my travels daily using my mobile!

A Perfect BirthDay
Last weekend it was my husband's 40th birthday. His present was an iPhone and I was lucky enough to be able to play with Instagram for the day! We started the day with a picnic on the beach...
After enjoying cava, coffee and croissants and a beautiful warm sunny morning by a blue sea we headed home to get ready for a glamourous lunch at the wonderful Broomhill Art Hotel....

Me in my new pink dress from H&M
We had two bottles of champagne from his sister so gratefully enjoyed one with our lunch whilst looking out of the french doors into the sun...
The restaurant is part of the slow food movement and my
Aubergine bean casserole with goats’ cheese, bulgar and spring vegetables was utterly gorgeous. Even more perfect that it was topped with a flower!

The garden shed
Oh my goodness! Lately we have been looking at sheds! I have been half-heartedly tagging along but actually once inside them feel overcome with the giddiness of playing in a Wendy house! Today I found this via the fabulous Pinterest and am truly excited. Not sure how it will fit in with the the plan for a recording studio though!
Sandra Foster did the carpentry herself to create this tiny Victorian house using vintage columns, flooring and wavy glass windows. It is just so delightful. Her blog is gorgeous too.
Oasis New Vintage
I love this video and the new dress collection. Even better I have found a new band too. The music is called Geeky Lover by Marble Fairy.
